Merton Lawyers at The Montgomery Summit 2025: Key Insights & Takeaways
Merton Lawyers was proud to be represented at The Montgomery Summit 2025 in Los Angeles, where our Managing Partner, Anthony Curtin, joined global leaders, investors, and entrepreneurs shaping the future of business, technology, and investment.
Day 1 set the stage with thought-provoking discussions on capital markets, innovation, and economic transformation. A standout session featured Jamie Montgomery (March Capital) and Michael Milken (Milken Institute), exploring the evolving American Dream, private capital’s role in societal impact, and systemic economic shifts. The impact of AI-driven infrastructure was highlighted through Rick J. Caruso’s Steadfast LA, showcasing how technology is accelerating wildfire recovery efforts. The day closed with a liquidity strategies panel, providing critical insights into IPOs, M&A, and venture-backed growth in an evolving market.
Day 2 (Part 1) featured Australian innovation on the global stage, with Harrison.ai presenting its AI-driven radiology solutions. The emerging IPO market was a major focus, with Goldman Sachs’ Charlie Black, Nasdaq’s Jeffrey Thomas, and leading investors forecasting signs of market recovery. A private capital outlook panel, led by March Capital’s Jamie Montgomery, underscored the need for capital discipline and strategic investment.

While attending Montgomery Summit in Los Angeles, Merton Lawyers were invited to PLUS Capital's Venice Beach offices by Cooley LLP pre Natural & Organic Products Expo breakfast. Amazing to see the consumer and investment community come together particularly after recent challenging times in Los Angeles.
