Riley Bouveng
Lawyer
Riley joined the Merton Lawyers Queensland team in July 2021 after completing his Bachelor of Laws at Bond University on the Gold Coast. He worked as a fulltime graduate in the litigation team while completing his Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice, and was admitted as a solicitor in the Supreme Court of Queensland in June 2022. Riley has since made the move to our Melbourne office and has truly excelled as a valuable member of the litigation team.
Since admission, Riley has practiced exclusively in litigation. He has a passion for conducting his own advocacy work, and has appeared in contested interlocutory hearings in the District Court of Queensland, procedural hearings in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia and final hearings in inferior courts such as the New South Wales Local Court. Riley has a particular interest in insolvency, property disputes, corporate disputes and debt recovery matters.
When not at Merton, Riley can be found:
Supporting his favourite NRL team (the North Queensland Cowboys), coaching and/or playing Touch Football, and travelling with his family and friends.
