New team members at
Merton Lawyers

We are happy to welcome to the Merton Lawyers family our two newest team members:

Danny Wu - Special Counsel

Ting-Chung Wu, also known as Danny Wu, is a Special Counsel and member of the Litigation team at Merton Lawyers. Danny’s principal areas of practice focus on dispute resolution specifically, civil and commercial litigation. Danny has also studied at Sydney University with a focus on corporate and insolvency laws holding a distinction in international insolvency law. 

Leah Hemman - Senior Conveyancer

Leah is a member of the property division with significant experience in subdivisional work, owner-builder/development work, family transfers, off-the-plan purchases and sales, and leasing. 

Leah’s areas of specialty consist of commercial and residential transactions from initial instructions through to settlement. Leah leads the way, navigating the various stages of the conveyancing process to facilitate a smooth settlement process.


March events

8th March - EFC Network Launch Event

Merton Lawyers is proud to support the upcoming EFC Network Launch event.

On Wednesday 8 March, the entire EFC corporate network will come together to preview the year ahead. The Essendon Football Club Network will host special guests including key Essendon Football Club talent and Nedd Brockmann, the young tradie who ran almost 4,000km from Cottelsoe Beach, WA to Bondi Beach, NSW in 46 days and raised $2.5 million for homelessness charity We Are Mobilise.

Brewer’s Lunch is one of Australia’s leading professional networking events.
Professionals, small business owners, and executives gather once a quarter for drinks, food, and conversation in an informal (yet structured) setting.

There may be new jokes, new faces, and new craft beer at every Brewer’s Lunch, but one thing remains the same: the chance to authentically connect with your city's leading business operators.

12th - 17th March - AUSTRALIA HOUSE @SXSW 2023

Australia House @ SXSW, which is located in the heart of the action on Rainey Street, Austin, Texas, is an all-encompassing Australian experience featuring technology showcases, music performances, keynote speakers and interactive displays by some of Australia’s leading experts in the film, music, thought and innovation sectors.

The multi-day activation includes multiple opportunities to engage in panel discussions, showcases and unique food, wine and tourism experiences.


13th March - Building a Sustainable Tech Ecosystem: The Sydney Experience

Hear from four pillars of the international tech community share their thoughts on Sydney's thriving innovation ecosystem. During this conversation, you will learn why Techstars, SxSW and DNEG chose Sydney as their newest international location, the key role the Australian Stock Exchange plays in constructing a sustainable tech hub, and what excites these organizations to collaborate on growing a diverse global tech community.


22nd March - Tractor Ventures - Growth Game Melbourne

Growth Game is a Tractor Ventures production visiting multiple cities as part of a 2023 AU/NZ tour.

The Growth Game tour features founders, investors and operators appearing in an unfiltered, straight to the point commentary on the tech investment trends right now, with questions flying back and forth between audience and speakers.
